Enrolment at Fetch n Fun

Assessment Day

To ensure the enjoyment and safety of all dogs, each applicant will undergo a first day assessment. This full assessment day or half day will give us a chance to meet your dog and learn their unique personality and individual needs to determine if doggy day care is right for them, as their wellbeing is our top priority. During the evaluation we will interact with and observe your dog, we will present and set up specific, controlled situations to enable our trained staff to determine suitability to the daycare environment.

The cost for the assessment is equivalent to a half day or a full day casual daycare fee, upon pick up staff will discuss your dog’s suitability for our centre and if appropriate, will set up your required scheduled days. If your dog is not comfortable or suitable, our team will discuss some great options to get them ready to play and socialise or some other recommendations for more suitable alternatives.

Please note that at Fetch n Fun we take doggy behaviour very seriously, if at any point we see a change in your pooch’s demeanour, we may consider placing your dog into a continual assessment period where we will proactively work with you and your dog to assist and support you where we can. All dogs will be on re-assessment for 5 or so visits after their first day as we find energy and behaviour can change once your pup gains confidence and settles into the daycare environment.

Our Daycare

Our stand alone, purpose built facility is the largest daycare in the region, which ensures your pups will have the best day by joining one of our 3 size and energy based level adventure rooms, so they can find their best playmates. All pups are given multiple visits outside into our huge outdoor play area for water play and sunbaking and will also be given enrichment games throughout the day – so they are always engaged with and never bored.
